Isla Top
Isla was inspired by the Scots pine, Scotland’s national tree, with the lace pattern resembling the characteristic conical shape of conifer trees. The garment is a light summer top with a lace pattern back and lace and stocking stitch front with set-in short lace sleeves.
All pieces are worked flat from the bottom up, then blocked and sewn together. Once the shoulders are seamed, sts are picked around the neck and the neckband is worked in the round in garter stitch.
