A variety of cable patterns grace this fun knit -- started at the top and worked to the hem, with sleeve openings (as well as notes for making the poncho/cape without the sleeves) and a nice deep shawl collar.

The front is wider across than the back, allowing for a comfortable fit without too much excess fabric in the back.

This design is not for the faint-of-heart but for the experience cable knitter and the pattern, written and charted, assumes intermediate knitting knowledge.

Designed so that it is all done in one piece (with the collar knitted onto the garment) this baby is done and ready to wear as soon as you’ve blocked lightly and tucked in all ends.

Directions are written out and charted. The design is worked in the round.
