This is the fourth sock of a year-long “Club” of patterns. The entire collection includes 12 sock patterns (plus a few bonus items), representative of different world cities. Skill-level: Intermediate due to lace work and sock construction. This is not a difficult or complex sock, however. An adventurous beginner with sock experience could easily make it.
Materials: 350-400 yards (320-360m) of sock yarn. The socks pictured are a size Large, and used approximately 375 yards of Favourite Sock Merino from It’s a Stitch Up in the color Harvest Moon
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles; the pattern is written for both DPN and Magic Loop knitters
Tools: A cable needle, if necessary, tape measure, scissors, and tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rounds per inch (2.5cm) worked in stockinette.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large) sizes measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches in circumference.
Note: This is a rather stretchy stitch pattern, but not loose. If in doubt, size down, but otherwise, plan on a normal fit.

K= Knit
P= Purl
S= Slip
K2tog= knit two stitches together
K3tog= knit three stitches together
SSK= work a slip-slip-knit
SK2P= Slip, knit two stitches together, pass the slipped stitch over the K2tog.
