This is a vintage Patons pattern from their magazine Fashion Knits (I think It’s possibly from the 60’s).

It requires 2 types of knitting needles and a crochet needle should you want the crochet border.

As the pattern is from yesteryear, the wool and needle sizes were given in imperial, as follows:

-16/17 (2oz) hanks of Big Ben wool

• No. 4 Beehive needle (6mm)
• No. 5 Beehive needle (5.5mm)
• No. 9 crochet hooks
