Itusi
The Itusi trail can be found on Lake Norman in North Carolina, not far from where this beautiful namesake shawl was photographed. And just like the trail, this shawl is windy with various sized “loops”. If you had a tiny mountain bike, it would be a blast to ride it along the ridges formed by this shawl!
Itusi (the shawl) is aesthetically reversible, so there’s no need to worry about which side is showing as you wear it. Who needs that kind of stress, anyway?
This asymmetric shawl is worked flat, beginning by at the widest edge and gradually decreasing to the tip. When working decreases in Garter Rib Twist pattern, maintain decreased stitches in pattern. If there are not enough stitches to work decreases and corresponding increases in the pattern stitch, work these extra stitches in garter stitch instead.
