As I was looking through my scraps of yarn to knit a hat, I was torn between doing a garter rib or a plain beanie. I stubbornly decided to have it both ways, which was fitting as I realized with fan girl glee that I had unawares picked the two signature colors of the TV show PSYCH.

THINGS TO KNOW

Gauge- 26 sts and 36 rnds over 4 inches in
stockinette

Needles- US 5 (3.75mm) 16 inch circular needle and DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop to accommodate small circumfrences.

Yarn- 40 grams total of DK yarn.
