This pattern was designed for the Drachenwolle 2012 anniversary!

The pattern is available in both German and English. After the pattern has been purchased, you should have both versions available for download. They’re labeled.

The sock features extensive cabling, including a patterned heel flap that requires wrong-side cables. It is also a footed pattern (right and left socks are mirror images, not identical). So, having some experience with sock knitting is helpful before jumping in.

I recommend having some stitch markers handy, especially if you work magic-loop style to knit socks. The pattern is written for DPNs, but is easily adaptable with the proper application of stitch markers. A cable needle may also come in handy, but all of these cables can be accomplished without one, if you prefer.

Enjoy!
