Jack’s Lament.

The Backstory:

Designed for NY Sheep and Wool 2018, this moebius cowl is inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and one of my favorite movie soliloquies in all of musical film!

First off, if you’ve never knit a moebius, you’ve gotta try it. It’s joyful to break the rules (which moebius knitting requires you to do), and even better when you get something fantastic to wear at the end of the journey.

You can also probably tell from many of my designs, the “Brioche Pleat” is one of my favorite things to knit. Watching them grow in this cowl is better than watching a pumpkin grow, but to similar effect and in so much less time it’s not even funny…lol

I want to especially thank Heather of HelloMello Handspun for being one of the greatest fiber friends I’ve made. I met her very early on into my ventures in the fiber arts, and her support means a lot. I’m glad to finally have a design in your yarn out there Heather! Thank you again!!
