This modern interpretation of a traditional Shetland hap shawl has a beautiful stitch pattern and drape.
Materials:
Mabel & Ivy Coast, 55% lambswool/45% cotton, 350m per 50g x 3 balls. Show in shade: Robin’s Egg
3.75mm needles (80cm long circular needles recommended)
Size:
Wingspan: 177cm
Depth 85cm
Tension:
15 sts and 24 rows over Chart A to measure 10x10cm after blocking.
Errata April 2016:
Cast off the garter stitch triangle before picking up stitches for the edging. Make sure the cast off stretches as much as the garter stitch fabric does.
