This layering piece has a looser stitch than some of the other sweaters, making it breathable though its worked in a bulky yarn. Don’t be afraid of the zipper, (tutorial in the book shows you a no-sew method!) kids adore them and it makes your knitting so wearable. Vertical pockets are set into openings created during the body work and the hood is worked directly off the neckline.
