The slippers are knitted in one piece from the ankle down, then felted into a dense, durable fabric that hugs the foot without bulky seams. A clean cable detail runs to the toe for an elegant finish.

GAUGE
5mm / US 8 needles, stocking stitch
After felting: 19 sts × 30 rows = 10 cm / 4”
Before felting: 17.5 sts × 24 rows = 10 cm / 4”

MATERIALS
Yarn: Drops Snow (100% wool; 50 g = 50 m / 55 yds per ball)
Substituting yarn? It must be 100% non-superwash wool with no synthetic fibres to felt correctly.
Yarn quantity: 3 to 5 balls. See table in the pattern photos for exact quantity.
Needles:
4mm / US 6 — 80 cm / 32” circular or DPNs
5mm / US 8 — 80 cm / 32” circular or DPNs
