Jane Goodall
This PDF pattern contains instructions to crochet Jane and a chimpanzee. Jane was a wildlife enthusiast and a researcher, thanks to who we know so much about apes as we do today.
It includes detailed instructions and many photos to help you at each step: from sewing parts together to embroidering the eyes and assembling the hair and accessories.
Dimensions
My finished doll is about 17 cm tall.
Yarn:
My favourite yarn is an acrylic and cotton mix. I usually use Lanoso Alara, but for the skin tone I used Alize Cotton Gold as well. All of my yarn is: 50% cotton and 50% acrylic, 140–160m and 50g (or 300m and 100g). If you do not have these available, YarnArt Jeans will also work well.
Skill level
I wouldn’t recommend this project to beginners, but anyone above that level can do it. This doll involves working in tiny rounds, sewing parts together, and embroidering details on the face.
This is a digital pattern, not a finished doll!
