Janis Maxi Coat
The 70’s is one of my favorite fashion eras with it’s bohemian styling and gypsy/rock star aesthetic.
The most coveted coats gathered inspiration from lady rockers of the time, and Janis Joplin wore some of the most enviable. Plush trim, embroidery and a dramatic maxi sweep were the details that set our fashion hearts afire.
Our Janis coat features fair-isle trim and duplicate-stitch motifs. The edgings and collar look like many bobbles, but are much easier to work.
