One pattern, two striped hats.
The first features plain stripes using the half treble stitch.
The second hat has a slight difference in that the stripes make the most of the fabulous Houndstooth stitch.
A deep brim of front post stitches finishes off these statement striped hats, warding off any January blues.

Materials
● Stylecraft Life DK (75 % acrylic, 25% wool, 298m/326yds per 100g) in assorted colours. Without labels to confirm (eek!), both hats use a combination from: Olive, Blue Haze, Zing, Lily, Oatmeal, Silver Grey. I used yarn from ancient stash so the shade Bracken (brown) has now been discontinued.
Yarn A: 35g
Yarns B & C: 15g
Yarn D 25g
Yarn E: 20g
● 3.75 mm (US F/5) hook
● Stitch markers (optional). Use them to mark the beginning of a round.

Tension
19 stitches and 15 rows measure 10cm of half treble sts.
