Japanese Blossom Handbag
by Donna Yates
This Grocery Bag Purse pattern was so lovely that I decided to free it from it’s plastic confines. Word to the wise: either use chunky yarn or hold two strands together.
I kind of think of this as the uber handbag pattern: easy and unique. Adorable times ten. I’ve carried it around for only two days and I am getting compliments (and requests) left and right. I have a hunter green one on the way.
For the flowers I used: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/super-simple-tawa... only with a much smaller hook than they suggested.
May I stress that I modified, I did not design! I had to list myself as the sole designer so that I could control the photos!
