Jeanette at Sunset
This blanket is a collaboration between Anna Moore and Dedri Uys. It started off as a nostalgic square I designed for the April 2017 Yarn Retreat with Devon Sun Yarns. Anna took that square and turned it into a gorgeous rainbow celebration of a blanket.
The squares in this blanket are named after one of my very dear friends: Aunty Jeanette. When I think of her, I remember the many cups of tea we shared at dusk; me with my 18-year-old naivety and know-it-all conviction, her with her salt-and-pepper hair and laughter like rolling thunder.
And so, Anna and I are pleased to introduce: Jeanette at Sunset (Calitzdorp, Little Karoo, South Africa).
For this blanket, you will be using 2 strands of Scheepjes Whirl and 1 strand of Scheepjes Stonewashed, switching between a 3mm hook (squares and border) and a 3.5mm hook (joining).
Although this pattern does not contain photos for every round, it does link to the photo tutorial for making the individual squares.
Yarn packs are available in my Wool Warehouse Shop and contain a printed copy of the pattern.
I would like to thank Anna Moore for allowing me to collaborate with her on this blanket.
