Originally designed for the Progressive East End Project (PEEP) 2021. Each year six yarn stores in the eastern metro area of Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota join together to host a Mystery Knit- and Crochet-A-Long (MKAL/MCAL)! About this pattern - Jeepers Peepers is a unisex hat and mittens (with the option to make fingerless mitts if so desired) set. There are two size options for both the hat (18”/20” circumference x 8.75” tall) and the mittens/mitts (6.5”/7.5” circumference at the palm).

You will need:

DK Weight Yarn

• MC – Approx. 250-300 yards for both hat and mittens
• CC1-6 – Approx. 20 yards for both hat and mittens

US 5/3.75 knitting needles or size to obtain gauge

• For the hat - 16” circulars and dpns
• For the mittens - 8-9” circulars and dpns (you can use dpns throughout if you wish)
