Jeremy is a Peaked cap, a baby and toddler version of our Sca Fell Peak. In these colours Jeremy is rather masculine, but you could make a lovely girly Jeremy in Ivory with a pink and cream pompom or with a pink (other girly colours are available) bow instead. The Town End Alpaca yarn doesn’t come in non-alpaca colours, but you could probably find some DK to match the tension and knit a girly striped Jeremy, too.

We’ve collaborated with Town End Alpacas on this little collection of baby / toddler garments and accessories. Town End Alpacas is based up in the North West of England in the heart of the Lake District (hence the names for this mini collection). They produce yarn from their herd of beautiful alpacas in proper alpaca fleece colours and we have to say it’s some of the most gorgeous alpaca we’ve ever used, soft and warm and just as nice as cashmere.

Single colour hat (not shown):

1 x 50g ball

4-colour hat:

1 x 50g ball of each colour, shown in Dark Fawn, Ivory, Light Mid Fawn and Pewter.

4mm and 4.5mm dpns / circular needles, OR the size required to give you the correct tension. It might be easier to knit the Peak on straights or circs, but the rest of the hat is entirely up to your preference for knitting small diameters in the round.
