Jerod's Worsted Weight Gansey
This gansey features circularly knit horizontal patterning with simple shoulder extensions, seam stitches, bisected underarm gussets, and ribbed cuff, neckband, bottom edge. It is knitted the round from the cast-on to the underarm, then knitted flat in the upper body to the shoulders. Once the shoulders are joined, the sleeves are picked up and knitted down to the cuffs. A seamless garment!

- Kitchener Stitch.
Yarn: heavy worsted weight

I have gotten questions regarding the repeat of the first pattern motif which is a diamond. The actual repeat of this motif is 6 +1, not 12 as it seems in the chart. For the small size:
100/2= 50 sts for front or back
50-1 seam st = 49 sts
Actual repeat is 6+1
49 sts/6 sts= 8 +1
Motif A repeats across the front 8 times and the last st (before the seam st) is worked like the first st of the motif, to complete that diamond.
