Jerome Hat

Located in the Black Hills of Yavapai County in Arizona, the town of Jerome has a tragic past, but is now a bustling tourist town that is well worth a visit. This historic copper mining town was home to a large population of miners in the late 19th century. Devastated over and over again by fires, the town has been built, re-built, and re-built again over the last 200 years. The entire town is built on a hill over 5,000 feet above sea level and sinks down the mountainside 1 inch every year.
