Jessamine
Jessamine, better known as the fragrant yellow jasmine flower, was the inspiration for this sweet shawlette. Herringbone double crochet adds a subtle texture as the shawl is worked sideways in an arc shape with a simultaneous edging. The cotton/linen yarn softens beautifully with washing and is pretty without being fussy. This is the perfect piece to wear over a breezy dress in late spring or summer.
