Jewel Scarf and Hat
The Jewel Scarf and Hat are worked in a cozy, squishy garter stitch. The scarf is worked lengthwise, making the work cruises right on along. The edge stitches are slipped and the jewel stitch rows are worked over 4 rows in contrasting colors. The main color is carried up the edge and hides neatly behind the slipped stitches. These simple to execute details present a polished and fun vintage look.
