Jimothy, Seattle’s new… mascot? friend? cryptid?

…however you define him, Jimothy is a unique little raccoon who’s won over the hearts of the internet. He’s impossible not to love! You can’t help but want to snuggle the little guy.

Rather than inciting the wrath of the masses by kidnapping him for cuddles, why not bring home some yarn instead and crochet your very own Jimothy replica? As a bonus, he’ll even be much less likely to bite or scratch!

This crochet pattern includes instructions to crochet Jimothy the raccoon, with a body measuring approximately 6” tall and 8.5” long, not including legs. It is of easy to intermediate difficulty and includes over 20 progress photos in a 15 page PDF. Additional instructions are included to make short (2”) or long (3”) legs, as well as to add 2” of length to the body, if desired.

Prior knowledge of crochet techniques is required to complete this project. This pattern requires a size g (4.25mm) crochet hook, worsted weight yarn in grey, black, and cream, two 20mm safety eyes, and polyfil. Steam blocking toes is recommended.
