Jojo
This pattern is currently only available as part of A Stitch in Time Volume 3, the colourwork edition.
JoJo, or the Lavenda Rainbow Jumper, is one of the most talked-about vintage patterns around., particularly after a version of this iconic sweater was worn by Scarlett Johansson in Jojo Rabbit. Originally published in the 1940s by Lavenda, the original version of this incredible pattern is only available in one size with a fixed body length. Susan has updated the pattern in such a way as to not only offer numerous chest sizes but choices of body length, a variety of sleeve and sleeve head options, a choice of fit and even alternative necklines. As a result this pattern will hopefully become your ultimate vintage wardrobe staple.
In the version shown, Susan has emulated the stunning colourway as used in the Jojo Rabbit version of this jumper, using eight beautiful shades of Excelana North, fingering weight yarn.
Alternatively you can use the colourway template included in the pattern you can create your own unique colourways using either 3, 4, 5 or 6 colours and enabling you to use up small amounts of left over yarn.
JoJo is knitted in Excelana North fingering weight, the perfect yarn for colour work garments in a selection of 8 shades including 3 shades developed for the JoJo pattern.
JoJo comes in 17 sizes to fit from 71–157 cm (28–62 in) chest with only 5cm (2in) increments between sizes and with both written and charted to work from plus a clear schematic diagram and sizing charts.
