M 5¾in diameter, 18¼in circumference at rib, 36in circumference at widest point
L 6in diameter, 18¾in circumference at rib, 39¼in circumference at widest point

Needles are either DPNS or circulars if you prefer using the magic loop

There are 11 colours, so this design can easily be made from scraps in your stash. The berets shown in the 4th image are both sides of the S, M and L sizes. The different colourways are all achieved by the same 11 colours.
