Jordan River Shawl
During a magical weekend spent in a Tiny House in the forest, I designed and created this shawl to use an Urth Yarns Merino Gradient kit I’d purchased on my way out of town. I wanted something geometric, with clean lines, to showcase the four luscious colours in the kit…and the Jordan River Shawl was born!
This pattern could also serve as a great stash-buster - if you have at least 203 m (220 yds) each of four colours. Enjoy!
June 7/20 - added a worsted-weight version of the shawl that is more or less the same length but somewhat wider. For the model, I used cuddly 100% cotton to toss over my shoulders on a chilly summer evening.
June 14/20 - added a version that combines a strand of mohair with a strand of merino.
