The Jordi mittens are the Yin to the Yang of the Jordi hat shown in the above pics. Together they make a great set to knit and to wear. Keep your hands and head comfortably warm while enjoying the outdoors. The yarn shown here with a lot of textured bits and added color flecks makes these mitts even more fun.

Both projects are knitted in the round.
Both patterns are entirely written for 4 sizes to knit the mittens, S/M/L/XL and two sizes 20”/22” in circumference in the hat.

Yarn
Spots yarn cake, a 85% Acrylic, 14% Rayon from Bamboo, 1% Nylon, the softest fluffiest. 97 yards/100 grams a cake, fully washable too, so very easy to take care off. It takes just a single skein and the kits include both printed and emailed patterns.

Notions
Mittens: US size 6 (4 mm) either circular or double pointed needles. 2 Stitch markers. Waste yarn. Tapestry needle.
Hat: US size 10 (6 mm) circular needle 16” (42 cm) in length. One stitch marker. Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
Hat: 11 sts and 20 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch
Mittens: 15 sts and 23 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch

Techniques applied
Both: Knitting and purling in the round, increasing, decreasing, taking remaining stitches off knitting needle with tapestry needle.
For the hat: Cinching stitches together tightly securing on inside of hat, weaving in ends. Adding optional pom.
