Josette’s Kerchief is the feature crochet pattern located in novel, “The Sojourn Stitch.”

The pattern can be followed as is from the book or beads can be added to it for a kerchief authentic to the story itself.

To add beads, finish off after the final row of the kerchief and before starting the edging. Prestring beads (sized appropriate for your yarn choice). Follow edging as written, adding a bead to each ch in the ch 3 repeats. You will need 78 beads (I always prestring extra).
