Meet Josie Lou, my original knitted doll design. Inspired by the popular Blythe dolls, Josie was created for my own girls and now you too can knit a special little girl their very own Josie Lou dolly. This pattern includes detailed instructions, step by step pictures and helpful tips on how to knit this super cute doll and her accessories. Josie Lou is knitted in the round on double pointed needles, for seamless knitting.
Basic knitting techniques includes; knit, purl, knit front & back, knit 2 together, casting on & casting off. Other skills required include basic embroidery skills. Special knitting techniques are explained in detail at the back of the pattern, with beginner knitters in mind.
This knitting pattern has been tried and tested for best results. Note some comments from my testers about the Josie Lou Knitted Dolly Pattern:

The finished doll size is approximately 30.5 cm /12 inches tall.
