Bold symmetrical reversible slouchy beanie. The hat is knitted in the round in a regular occurring motif pattern worked in the Brioche technique, finishing with a star crescendo on top. The main pattern is for a long bodied, slightly slouchy hat knitted in Aran weight yarn. Other options to create shorter bodied, snugger fitting, less slouchy beanie and in DK weight yarn are given too.

Yarn: Rowan kid classic (70% lambswool, 26% kid mohair, 4% nylon) 2 x 50 grams balls.
Yarn MC Green shade 00886 1 x 50 grams, Yarn CC Brown shade 00872 1 x 50 grams.
Needles: 4.5 mm (UK 7/US 7) & 5 mm (UK 6/US 8) circular needles
Notions: Locking stitch markers
Tension: 1 repeat of pattern (RIGHT & LEFT DECREASES) measures 10cm wide by 5cm high after blocking.
