This pattern includes two size options:

Jumbo size: approximately 65 cm (25.5”) tall, made using worsted weight yarn held double or bulky weight yarn.

Smaller size: approximately 45 cm (17.5”) tall, made using a single strand of worsted weight yarn.

Both sizes follow the same bottom-up construction. The legs are crocheted separately, then joined seamlessly to continue the body and head as one piece. The nose, beard, hands, and hat are crocheted separately and sewn on to finish the gnome.
