Jumper for Cooler Days
FOR days when the breeze is cool and for wearing with a tailored skirt in the country or at the seaside is this attractive jumper made with horizontal bands of decorative knitting.
NB: Part II of pattern (a correction to the sleeve/yoke instructions).
Materials:
7 oz. of Paton’s super crepe yarn
Two No. 10 and two No. 9 knitting needles (Old UK)
A No. 13 crochet hook
One button
Measurements:
Width all round at under-arm, 35 inches
Length from top of shoulder, 19 inches
Length of sleeve from under-arm, 4½ inches
Tension:
6½ stitches to 1 inch on No. 9 needles (US 5 / 3.75 mm)
