Juno the Siamese Cat
Juno the Siamese Cat has been curled up in Kerry Lord’s menagerie since 2014, appearing in the original version of Edward’s Menagerie. Siamese cats are one of the oldest cat breeds in the world, first appearing in Thai manuscripts in the 14th century. Known for their sleek coats with distinctive markings, their mysterious looks have been treasured by royal families in Thailand for hundreds of years, who believed that the animals received their souls after death and would keep them in temples to be pampered. TOFT’s woolly version of this iconic cat breed is a great crochet kit for learning the ‘colour change’ technique, and will remain a cuddly companion for life.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
