Have you ever knit a shawl and just thought one section was spectacular? Just a Piece came from my original design Playground Shawl and the twisted rib sections that are present. I could not get that structured section out of my head and thought ‘huh, I think I could make a whole shawl design from that’ and that is how Just a Piece is born!

Just a Piece is a top down triangle shawl that starts with a garter tab cast on and then moves into half twisted ribbing and simple garter to break them up. At the change of each twisted rib section the stitches move over one stitch for an overall graphic and textured look to the shawl. I hope you love this simple social knitting design!

840 yards (768 meters) of fingering weight yarn

NEEDLES
US 4 (3.5 mm) 32 inch (80 cm) circular or longer

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle
Stitch Marker
Scissors

GAUGE
26 Stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked Half Twisted Rib

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
