JUST KEEP GOING is a DK weight cowl knit in the round using simple knit and purl stitches to produce a pleasing reversible texture.

Many times in life, you are not sure of how things will turn out but you have to keep going. There is not much stopping or waiting. You just have to keep with the pace of life. It is at one such time that I came up with the design of this cowl.

I intended to use a stitch pattern that doesn’t require much memorizing, that will let me knit freely, that will let me just keep going. I felt cheerful as I saw the steep diagonal ribs take shape, as I knitted on. It drapes beautifully like a warm hug around your neck. I hope you will enjoy knitting this simple pattern as much as I did.

FINISHED SIZE
21” circumference, 11” height.

YARN
Any DK Weight Yarn, about 300 yards

NEEDLE
4.5 mm/US7, 24” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

GAUGE (in the round, blocked)
24 sts/24 rows per 4 inch, in stockinette st.
20sts/36rows per 4 inch, in pattern stitch.
