From Nancy Bush's Pattern Description These lacy stockings were inspired by a pair of modern ones I purchased in a shop…They are named after Juta…who welcomed me to her home and helped me by translating numerous texts and explaining techniques and difficult words.…
These stockings begin with a Continental cast-on and are decorated with a lace chevron pattern down the sides of the leg and on top of the foot. I offer them here in three sizes representing, perhaps, the generations of Mäesalu women, their sharing and closeness.
