Kaibab Hat and Mitts
by Melinda Baur
The colors and visible floats of the Kaibab hat were inspired by the beautiful woven fabrics of the American Southwest. The Show Stopper yarn makes a delightfully light and stretchy hat that provides just the right amount of warmth for a cool spring or fall day.
Main color – Breaking Ground (brown), 50 g hank is enough for hat, 100 g for hat and mitts.
Contrast colors – 20 g hank of each is plenty for both hat and mitts, with left over.
- Krampus (dark green)
- Lucky Charm (medium green)
- Bean Stalk (light green)
- Drama Queen (dark purple)
- Evil Queen (medium purple)
- Purple Rain (light purple)
- Dames at Sea (dark blue)
- Imperial (medium blue)
- Apple Bottom (light blue)
