This Blanket is made up of 16 Mitered Squares that start with a single stitch and increase in size. The squares of the same color are then sewn together, and a border is added by picking up and knitting, creating 4 large squares, which are in turn sewn together. Finally, a border is added around the entire, piece and you are left with a soft, cuddly and colorful blanket! A circular needle is recommended to accommodate the large number of stitches for the final border, however straight needles may be used for the Mitered Squares if you prefer.
