Welcome to the Knit Collage Spring 2021 Knitalong! Our knitalongs are wonderful way to learn and grow in new ways. We accomplish that through learning knitting skills, accountability (to stick to your knitting goal!), round the clock knitting support and connection with other like-minded makers. So we hope you’ll consider joining in!

About the pattern:

The Kaleidoscope Embroidered Sweater is a twist on the Kaleidoscope Striped Sweater we ran during last fall’s KAL. Worked top down, seamlessly and in the round, this yoke style sweater is ideal for beginner knitters looking to make their first sweater. The really fun part this time around will be teaching and running wild (creatively!) with the embroidery. We’ll give you instructions on how to recreate the embroidery you see here, however feel free to make it your own! The yarn in this kit is for the short sleeve version - grab an extra skein or use stash to lengthen sleeves or the body!

In the video tutorials, Amy will guide you through every step of how to make the sweater from start to finish including some basic embroidery techniques.

• Knitalong Guide with the pattern and all the info and resources you’ll need to be successful with your project. You will receive this as a PDF download with your kit purchase that you will receive by email when your kit ships.

• Muslin pouch, tape measure, darning needle, Cocoknits stitch markers, faux leather Knit Collage label for you to personalize and sew onto your finished KAL piece and a pretty embellished ribbon from Amy’s India travels tying it all together.
