Kaleidoscope Shawl

The ever-changing, multiple reflections within a kaleidoscope have intrigued children and adults alike since its invention in 1815.

The beautiful segments of this shawl are knit individually, creating an enjoyable modular project that is easy to pick up and work on. All segments except the neck segment are knit in the round. The completed sections are joined together with an invisible horizontal seam, creating a seamless-looking finished design.

The narrow three-stitch border is quick to knit and provides the perfect finishing touch to this elegant lace shawl.

The pattern is fully charted and offers a rewarding project for knitters who enjoy unique construction techniques and beautiful lace designs.
