Kaleo Sweater is a saddle shoulder, boyfriend style pullover. It is constructed from the top down starting with the neckline. German short rows are used to shape the neckline. Sweater is worked in the round in stockinette stitch all the way through. Intended to be worn with at least 10 to 20 cm (4” to 8”) of positive ease. Pattern is written in American knitting terms, with minimal abbreviations. Read the pattern all the way through before you begin.

Bust size of the finished sweater is XS 103, S 118, M 124, L 130, XL 137, 2XL 146 3XL 155, 4XL 160, 5XL 166 cm, approximately XS 40½”, S 46½”, M 49”, L 51”, XL 54”, 2XL 57½”, 3XL 61”, 4XL 63“, 5XL 65¼”.
Model is wearing size M on 93 cm / 36½” bust. Please note that the correct size can only be achieved if the correct gauge is achieved. See the final measurements below before you decide on the size.

Gauge / Tension
Main 13 stitches by 20 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) using size US 10.5 / 6.50 mm needles in stockinette stitch, in the round after washing and blocking.
Neck ribbing 15 - 16 stitches per 4” (10 cm) using US 9 / 5.50 mm.

Suggested needles
For the neck and sleeve cuffs you will need double pointed needles or (short tip) 25 - 35 cm / 10”- 14” size US 9 / 5.50 mm circular knitting needles+
For the body 80 cm / 32” US 10.5 / 6.50 mm circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.
For the sleeves US 10.5 / 6.50 mm double pointed needles or small circumference (25 to 30 cm / 10” to 12”needles).
Longer needles can be used for the neck and the sleeves if you use magic loop method.
