KALLIO

These slippers are started from the sole, which is worked flat with a strand of sock yarn and silk mohair held together. Stitches for the sides are picked up along the sides of the sole and the work continues with the sock yarn in the round. Next the back is shaped with short rows and the upper worked back and forth, decreasing sts at the same time. Finally, the opening is finished with an i-cord bind-off.
