Kamila Spiral Shawl
A free version is also available.
Beautiful crochet shawl with unusual construction! The shawl starts at the bottom point of the shawl, it is worked in round creating a cone shape.
It increases only on one side also creating a triangle when folded over with end round lined up.
The finished size is 135 cm at the longest point x 65 cm at the widest point after firm blocking.
It is worked in lace weight yarn with 4 mm hook so it works up surprisingly fast and creates a stunning lacy shawl.
It uses half double crochet stitch that creates a lovely texture and knit look fabric.
I used 1 skein of lace weight yarn @ 800 m which was hand dyed by The Mermaid’s Purse Yarns.
The pattern has been written in US crochet terms.
