Kanteletar sock pattern is the closing sequel to my trilogy of traditional sock patterns including also Echoes from Karelia and Sydämeni laulu. It was the pattern of Tour-de-Sock 2017, stage 2.

Pattern features:

• knitted cuff down

• instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well

• instructions written in metric and US terminology

• four sizes: small (60 sts), medium (66 sts), large (72 sts) and extra-large (80 sts)

• folded cuff, Latvian braids, stranded colourwork, slipped stitches and a heel back gusset with a heel flap under the heel

• charts but no written instructions for the stranded colourwork
