CONSTRUCTION
This cardigan is knit bottom up, then front and back are separated at underarm before working neck and shoulder shaping (shoulder shaping is done using German Short Rows). Shoulders and neck are finished with Three Needle Bind Off. Stitches are picked up at the armhole and the sleeves are worked flat. (The main pattern stitch is unable to be worked in the round.) After blocking, the sleeves, back of neck, and pockets are seamed.
