This Amigurumi-style fish was inspired by the plucky salmon that pass through Ballard’s Chittenden Locks every summer and fall. As the salmon are in short supply this year, rather than catching one, crochet one! Blue Sky Cotton is an environmentally sound choice, too; the yarn is made from organic cotton that comes in a rainbow of brightly dyed colors as well as naturally grown shades.
Created for the Puget Sound’s third annual LYS Tour, Destination: YARN.
The downloadable copy of the pattern is my original draft, and does not include a picture. Unfortunately, Hilltop Yarn has since closed and there is no longer a fancy formatted copy of this pattern.
