A simple knit which can be completed in one evening - with a bit of focus! The smaller size uses only one ball of yarn. The bigger size uses a bit more than one ball. The hat is knitted in one piece, and joined with back stitch or mattress stitch. There is a simple lacey border. The bootees are knitted in one piece, with a bit of picking up stitches and joining of seams but really very easy and satisfying to knit. The yarn, Artesano Superwash merino is very soft and has the bonus of being machine washable.
