Kate Mittens
Kate Mittens is an intermediate knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mittens featuring a beautiful textured Pangolin Scales Stitch and a classic ribbed cuff.
Worked flat and then seamed, the mittens combine 1×1 Ribbing at the cuff with Stockinette Stitch and the distinctive Pangolin Scales Stitch, creating a rich, three-dimensional texture.
The thumb opening is shaped with gradual increases for a comfortable fit, while the simple construction allows the textured stitch to become the main feature of the design. Both mittens are worked following the same instructions and finished with an invisible vertical seam.
