As soon as this hat came off my needles, it became one of my all-time favorites. The Mohair Silk carried along with the Beautilitarian DK gives the fabric an ethereal halo of fuzz (and some extra warmth).

Feel free to experiment by using a skein of Mohair Silk that’s a different color from the Beautilitarian DK--the color of the mohair will blend with the other yarn and shift the hue in a subtle, beautiful way.

Skills Used:
joining/knitting in the round
k2tog decreases
using double pointed needles
m1 increases

Notions:
faux-fur pom pom (optional)

Shown in colorway “Kate’s Moss.”
