Get ready for the comfiest, coziest, softest sweater to join your lovely
pile of hand knits and that will likely make it’s way to the top of your most-worn sweaters for this year and years to come. When my friend Jensen of Sugarplum Circus yarns created this new color way named after me, on one of her new and gorgeous bases (did someone say Merino + Baby Alpaca ?!?) I knew I wanted to design something extra special that I could wear often and always.

This simple and fun brioche stitch stitch pattern and yarn create amazing texture and drape that knits up quickly for beginners and skilled knitters alike, and when knit with the recommended yarn the squish factor is off the charts!

Notes
This sweater is worked from the bottom up in pieces beginning with the body, once worked to the underarms the stitches are placed on hold or spare needles, then the sleeves are knit from the cuff up to the underarm. The sleeves and body are then joined in the round and raglan decreases shape the yoke. Stitches are bound off for the front neck and then the entire neck opening. Smaller needles are used to pick up stitches and knit the collar, a few short rows are worked in the collar to raise the back of the collar slightly.
